Finalist – External Facing Creative Contest for a Top-Ranking Biosciences PR Firm

Developed in response to a top-ranking biosciences marketing firm’s company-wide call for public-facing swag suitable creative for Pride 2025. Feel free to download and repost on social media!

Inspired by the official World Pride 2025 theme- “Fabric of Freedom”- my entry, titled “We Spun Thread Into Gold: Each Strand a Story, Each Stitch a Stand,” reflects on how textiles have long served as tools of resistance, identity, and community. My submission also nods to contemporary defenders of queer joy- like the protectors of trans story hours across the country who sometimes appear in glorious puffy unicorn costumes to deescalate tense situations.

Although the creative brief required entries be final and ready for immediate use, the concept was strong enough to compel judges to request a legibility tweak- a delightfully unexpected request. While timing didn’t allow for resubmission, the enthusiastic response earned this piece a finalist spot and a proud place in my portfolio.
